the first days of spring had me rushing to the garden center this weekend to buy new herbs for my little 'garden'. i love having fresh herbs within reach, somehow it gives me more inspiration in the kitchen. i've planted rosemary, arugola, parsley, mint, sage, thyme, and a few lavender plants because i love their smell and the beautiful purple color of their flowers. can't wait for summer to to come around and eat breakfast or have cocktails outside again.
