found over at supremely nice foodie blog what katie ate: these pictures of the newly opened coffee house and restaurant the grounds in sydney. i have a soft spot for coffee bars - that's for sure - but i love them even more when they offer great food as well. the grounds looks like it is a blend of homely comfort and hipster coolness. i seriously dislike places that push it too far either way, but this one seems to have found the right balance. aside from this recent opening, i've been coming across a lot of reasons to consider australia as a travel destination for the near future. have you ever been?

Ik ben er vanochtend gaan ontbijten. Het was heel plezant, maar zelfs op vrijdagochtend moet je wachten om een tafel te pakken te krijgen. Maar het eten is wel subliem lekker en de koffie is keigoed. En het interieur is geweldig. Hip en toch autentiek.
