offscreen

there's a whole slew of brilliant magazines out there, printed on heavy stock and translating the visual language of the online world to reading material that is equal parts design object and savory literature. i'm hell-bent on picking up the next kinfolk while in the states, so as to have the pleasure of reading it in paper instead of on my ipad. but it seems i might need to take a trip to berlin, too, to get my hands on an issue of offscreen. that one celebrates the world behind the screen and the creative minds that run the digital universe. i'm intrigued.
