it's funny how sometimes you get to 'know' people through their work, instagram and twitter feeds and because they travel in the same circles as you do, but you've never actually met them. last week i finally met the brains and talents behind coffeeklatch, an online magazine about creatives and their universe.
it's got everything to keep you busy for quite a while - browsing through the gorgeous pictures of interiors, people and the stuff they keep close to them, and reading the delightful interviews. it's like a window into a side of belgium that you haven't seen before - and i dig that. also, magali and bart are seriously cool and nice folks, and you might want to check out their other work, too.

Gek dat je juist het huis van Frederic Hooft post. Dat is het vorige huis van mijn stiefpa en hij heeft het aan hen verkocht toen hij drie jaar geleden trouwde met mijn mama. Zij hebben er echt wel ongelooflijke dingen mee gedaan, ik verschiet er telkens weer van. En Jan en Delphine Hoet hun huis is natuurlijk ook fantastisch, zo'n gezellig kot, zeker de binnenkoer. Haha nu zal ik stoppen met ranten, Coffeeklatch is inderdaad fantastisch. Doet je eraan herinneren dat je de Belgen niet moeten onderschatten, op creatief vlak. We do have loads of talent, yes. Echt fijne post, Steph. Ik krijg even de kriebels van dat oud huis van Toon te zien haha - xx
hey lies, wat grappig inderdaad dat het ex-huis van je stiefpapa op mijn blog terecht kwam :) je hebt gelijk - we hoeven het niet ver te gaan zoeken voor coole concepten en mensen, en coffeeklatch is daar het beste voorbeeld van. ik probeer tegenwoordig regelmatig een paar van mijn favoriete belgen in de kijker te zetten onder de tag 'les belges'. als je zelf aanraders hebt, i'd love to hear about them!
