curling up with a blanket and a book - is there anything better? so i've spread out my current favorites over my warmest blankets and noticed the americana theme (not as if that came as a surprise). i picked up robert adams' what can we believe where at the lacma shop in los angeles, as some of his photographs were on show when i visited and i was super impressed by them. brooklyn diary i brought home from the new york art book fair at moma ps1 two years ago, and it is a very fond souvenir of that trip (plus a really good read if you are into the brooklyn makers' scene). new york sleeps was a christmas gift that made me really happy - i always regretted not having seen these incredible photos - of a desolate new york at night - on show anywhere.
