the catalogue chanel included in my shopping bag is a thing of beauty. the paper quality is really grainy and feels incredible, and the typography and photography are amazing. i'm not a brand groupie, but i do appreciate when a lot of thought and effort is put into marketing materials. it might not persuade me to shop more chanel (frankly my bank account was already screaming murder after this one purchase), but it turns a rather ordinary item into a nice object to hang on to.
