our geneva place

while we are far from finishing settling in here in geneva - there is a neverending list of chores and storage problems that still need a solution - some nooks and corners are finally starting to look and feel like home. my favorite scented candle of all time is present in every single room (i think i may have bought the entire stock when byredo told me they stopped producing the scent, but lo and behold, it's once again available in their webshop!) - they make sure everywhere feels warm and cozy.

my favorite room right now, and the one i spent most time on getting ready first, is the bedroom slash home office. it's not ideal to work in the space where you sleep, but it has advantages too (working from bed, anyone?) most of our furniture here is from ikea, so i try to do my best adding personal touches in the decorating. i especially love all of the posters i've gathered over the years, getting them from friends or buying them abroad (or, let's face it, binge shopping them on etsy).
